Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Social Justice and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Minister Prem Singh Patel has urged the people of the state to use more and more cow-wood and tubers in Holika Dahan. This will save wood. Cow shelters will earn income from the sale of cow-wood and kanda and they will be financially strong. The environment is also purified by burning cow dung. Minister Patel gave hearty greetings of Holi to the people of the state.
